What do you expect from guys who would name their restaurant(s) "Munchie Emporium"? Casual atmosphere, booths, breweriana and junque on the walls. Basically neighborhood pubs with homemade beer, conversation, and live, acoustic music for adults. The food is very reasonably priced with lunch specials at just $5. The beer can be found in bottles in many Indiana liquor stores.

Representative Beer Menu

The 7-bbl brewery behind glass at the Ft. Wayne brewpub makes beer for that location only. A larger 15-bbl system across the parking lot does the bottled and kegged beer including beer for the Auburn location.

  ABV
Gabby Blonde Lager Sparkling yellow light beer for the BudMillerCoors drinker.
Auburn Lager A reddish copper Vienna lager with some characteristic sweetness. Suitable to be the main course in a multi-beer session. Almost tart.
Ol Woody Pale Ale APA with a big-for-style body and hops tending, nay, rushing to the grapefruity Northwest hops end of the scale.
Big Daddy Brown Ale A dark mile style with some extra hop bite. Walnut color.
Ruby Raspberry Wheat Ale Oregon raspberries give a bright cherry color and a very strong, tartish raspberry flavor and aroma. Quite pleasant.
Apple Ale
(seasonal)
Effervescent but headless. Bluish yellow like a Berliner Weiss. Plenty of apple but not cidery sharp. 100 gallons of local apple cider added to the fermentation in each batch.

Some people have a half and half with the Raspberry.

Happy Weasel Hefe Weizen
(seasonal)
"A refreshing light wheat ale fermented with a special German yeast, which gives the beer a fruity-spicy character with hints of banana and cloves."
Imperial Stout
(seasonal)
So very black/brown with a pure, long lasting brown head. Thick and oily creeping back down the side of the glass. Great mouthfeel. Chocolate and roasted malts with Fuggles and Chinook hops. The flavor is subdued and balanced with minimal roasty grain or darker notes. 8.7%
Imperial IPA
(seasonal)
Medium copper with little head. Heavily hopped at 60+ IBU but very little hops are wasted on the aroma. The first sip gives you white knuckles and it grows on you fast. Chinook, Cascade, and Willamette hops. Dry hopped with more Chinook. 9%
Snow Plowed Winter Ale
(seasonal)
A Dark copper Strong Ale. Classic. 5.3%
ESB
(seasonal)
English best bitter. Full and smooth. Has the proper bready and buttery notes. Our favorite. 5.3%

Other seasonals: Autumn Wheat, Oktoberfest, Barr Street Bock, Black Squirrel Oatmeal Stout, Sofa King Bitter IPA, Old Crippled Bastard., Old Fort Porter, Harry Baals Irish Stout.
