Jim keeps a good stock for a fairly few local customers but it's always fresh. This small liquor store in the small town of Peru has an unexpected large range of good beer. There is a nice shelf of singles and 6-packs. If you want cold beer, ask for some of the stock kept in a large cooler in back of the counter. It's not really EZ-Off-On from US 31 but it's the best liquor store between South Bend and Carmel - and that includes all of Kokomo.

f you are trapped in Kokomo, the only halfway decent beer store we've found is Soupley's Carry Out Liquor on US 31 at Carter Rd. There's one door of interesting cold beers and one fully stocked display aisle. Open 8am - Midnight, Mon-Sat.
